GEMCRAFT HOMES AIDS BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF DELAWARE Greater Milford Club Set to Receive $5000 Donation for New Facility “Good will is good business. There is no better cause than quality of life for our youth.” Ron Golden, Gemcraft Homes Milford, DE (January 12, 2006) GemcraftHomes, the largest independent homebuilder in the Mid-Atlantic region,will donate $5 thousand to the Greater Milford Boys & Girls Club in support of the planned $6.2 million recreational and multi-purpose facility. Ceremonies are set for Thursday, January 19, 2006 from 5-6 PM in the Gemcraft Homes community of The Meadows at Shawnee. The donation presentation by Ron Golden, Regional Director of Sales, Gemcraft Homes, will take place in the Camden model home, 2 West Bullrush Drive, Milford, DE 19963. Honored guests in attendance to accept the donation will include the Honorable Joseph Rogers, Mayor; Robert J. Voshell, Chair of Milford Community Campaign ;David G. Burton, Capital Campaign Committee; Kate Marvel, President of Milford Boys & Girls Club; Dick Carmean, Milford Town Manager; Gary Emory, Head of Milford Parks & Recreation; George Krupanski, President Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware (BGCDE); and Jim Logullo, VP Development BGCDE. Esteemed members of the Milford Chamber of Commerce and City Council will also be present. “Good will is good business,” said Mr. Golden. “Clearly our donation will help accommodate a major expansion for the City of Milford, Department of Recreation and Parks in partnership with the Boys &Girls Club of Delaware. More importantly, it is a contribution to the quality of life for the community’s youth,” said Mr. Golden. “The planned expansion includes the development of a 20-acre site which will accommodate amenities such as a regulation-size gymnasium, indoor swimming pool, academic center, computer room, meeting rooms, and playing fields,”said Richard Carmean, Milford City Manager. “To date, the State Boys & Girls Club, the City of Milford, and many citizens have contributed generously to the $6.2 million project. We are honored and grateful to count Gemcraft Homes among those who are helping to make this facility a reality,” Mr. Carmean said.
